What is the holy spirit and what role does it play in our lives? For a lot of people, the term “Holy Spirit” is regarded as a Christian concept that doesn’t pertain to individuals outside of their worldview, but this couldn’t be any less true. In essence, the Holy Spirit is really just the omnipresent spirit or energy that brings all of existence to life, and through certain practices, i.e. meditation, yoga, etc., we are able to cultivate more of an awareness of its presence.
If you remember from our discussion on raising your vibrational energy, “We resonate, perceive, and are influenced by vibrations aligned with our own.”. So, when you’re being your best self and living in accordance with your own unique nature, your intuitive psychic abilities drastically improve as your spirit begins to “tune in” to what the Holy Spirit has in store for you.
You may be familiar with the philosophy of Zen Buddhism in which its adherents famously “go with the flow” as a means to achieve spiritual enlightenment. Well you too can test this philosophy or observe its practice by beginning to follow your gut instincts, the immediate reactions or thoughts you have before you begin to overthink them and rationalize them until they eventually lose any hope of ever becoming actions. Try to do more and think less. And I don’t necessarily mean that you should always act impulsively either, definitely not; I more so mean that you should just always follow your heart. Learn to concentrate your mind and seek out that little voice inside of you who dreams big, the one screaming at you to take the leap of faith you’ve been afraid to, you might just be surprised at the results.
